Picture of the finished product

We are finally finished!!!!!

Picture of the finished product coming soon, so stay tuned!

Nabil's thoughts on the project:

I thought this project was a very cool and unique way to make unique "products" that use either hydraulics or pneumatics. I have never done a project like this before but it turned out great and did what it was supposed to, Also, John was a great parnter to work with. We had some trouble along the way, but in the end, it was done!

John's thoughts on the project:

The syringes were very cool! One hard step towards the project was what we were going to make. We first though "Hmm..., how about a bridge? Naaw, too mainstream, but what if we make a keyboard clicker! Of course, the keyboard clicker would be sick!" We made a diagram and everything, then we went to logic and noticed this would need lots of work and may not be very user-friendly, and also why would people need it, because it requires way more work and patience rather than just clicking a key. But then, we had a wonderful Idea! How about a cellphone/tablet holder that is adjustable! We went straight to work and made it. This experience was wonderful!

DIAGRAM

This is our Diagram of what our project can do:

We are almost finished!

Me and Nabil have almost completely finished our Hydraulics project! We had another idea towards the project that we still need to tweak!

We've Started

Me and John have officially started working on our hydraulics project and are making very good progress.
In total, we need 8 syringes or 4 pairs of the syringes; 2 pairs for x axis and 2 pairs for y axis

Problem:
Sometimes it is hard to keep a cellular device in one position and hard to change the position once the cellular device has maintained it.

Plan:
Our plan is making a module which has these elements combined in one; easily being allowed to change cell phone position as desired and have the cell phone maintain the position.

Materials:

8 syringes, clear tube, water bottle, Wooden block or other matter in block form, cell phone and object to hold phone in position.

New Idea

Days ago, I thought of the greatest idea. A rotatable stand for mobile devices.
I know it is, warning to all my lactose intolerant friends, legen-wait for it-dary.

Our Idea

Today, Nabil has thought of the greatest idea, a customizable phone/tablet stand, capable of rotating in all three Euler directions. It's perfect for holding electronic devices at the angle you want with hydraulics.

Started Blogger

This experience, making the blog has been a mess! We started making one a few weeks back, but our problem was that it was under my name (nabil) which we could not use, then we made a different email and linked it to this blog...
